This Privacy Policy explains how NAPANEN EXPRESS ("we", "our") handles information when you use our website and mobile app to book pabili, padala and delivery services, or when you work with us as a rider or store partner. We keep this policy short and honest — it describes what the service actually does with your information.
Information We Collect
Depending on how you use NAPANEN EXPRESS, we may collect:
- Your name, phone number and email address when you create an account.
- Your account type (client, rider, store owner or admin) and role-related details.
- Optional details you choose to add, such as a Facebook profile link.
- Delivery addresses you save or enter for pickups and drop-offs.
- Location information when you use the map features to choose pickup or drop-off points.
- Order and booking information: items, instructions, distances, delivery fees and order status.
- Store and product information: menus, product details, prices and availability that authorized users upload.
- Payment-related information needed to operate the service, such as COD amounts on orders and the GCash details you submit for rider top-ups.
- Rider delivery information, including proof-of-pickup, proof-of-delivery and rider selfie photos.
- Product, menu and other images uploaded by authorized users.
- Chat messages and chat attachments between you, support and the people involved in your delivery.
- Ratings and reviews you submit for stores or riders.
- Notification subscription information, so we can send you updates through your browser or device.
- Basic technical information necessary to run the service, such as sign-in sessions and error reports.
How We Use Information
We use this information to:
- Create and manage accounts, and verify riders and store partners.
- Process bookings and orders, calculate delivery distances and fees, and complete deliveries.
- Connect clients, riders and stores, and coordinate each delivery.
- Show order status to the people involved in that order.
- Provide customer support through our in-app support chat.
- Record delivery proof, such as photos confirming pickup and delivery.
- Send notifications about bookings, orders, delivery status and important account events.
- Show and moderate ratings and reviews.
- Keep the service secure, prevent fraud and misuse, and administer accounts.
- Improve and maintain the service.
Location Information
Location features are used for delivery purposes: choosing pickup and drop-off points on the map, searching addresses, calculating delivery distance and fare, and helping riders navigate a delivery. We use your location only when you choose a location feature — we do not track your location in the background. You can allow or deny location access at any time through your browser or device permission settings, and you can also enter addresses manually.
Camera and Photos
Camera and gallery access is used only when you voluntarily upload an image, such as delivery proof, pickup proof, a rider selfie, product or menu photos, or chat photos. Access happens through your device or browser permission system — we never use your camera without your action, and we do not access it continuously.
Notifications
With your permission, we send notifications about bookings, orders, delivery status, rider and client updates, and important service or account events. Notifications are optional — you can turn them off at any time in your browser or device settings without losing access to the app.
How Information Is Shared
We share information only as needed to run the delivery service. For example, the name, contact details and drop-off information needed to complete your order are made available to the rider assigned to that order, and order details are made available to the store fulfilling it. Riders do not receive client information beyond what a delivery requires, and clients do not receive riders' private documents or financial details — those are visible only to authorized administrators.
We do not sell your personal information.
Third-Party Services
We rely on a small number of service providers to operate NAPANEN EXPRESS:
- Cloud backend services (database, sign-in, file storage and real-time updates) that store app data securely.
- Google — Google sign-in ("Continue with Google") and Google Maps services for address search, maps and distance calculation.
- Browser and device push-notification services, used to deliver the notifications you opted into.
- Hosting and content delivery services that serve the app itself.
Data Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information: sign-in is required for accounts, access is restricted by role, sensitive actions are authorized on the server, sensitive uploads such as rider documents and delivery proof are kept in private storage, and the app is served over encrypted HTTPS connections. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security — but we design access controls so that private information is only visible to the people who need it for a delivery or for administration.
Data Retention
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain order and transaction records, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations and keep the service secure. When information is no longer needed, we delete or remove it.
Your Choices and Contacting Us
You can review and correct your name and contact details in your profile, manage saved addresses, control location, camera and notification permissions in your device or browser settings, and ask questions about your account. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, contact us through the in-app Support chat, or reach out to the NAPANEN EXPRESS team through our official channels.
Children
NAPANEN EXPRESS is a general-audience delivery service and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and accounts are expected to be created by adults.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the service or legal requirements change. The "Last Updated" date at the top shows when it was last revised.
